IN-spired Living Coaching & Facilitation

a little bit about me...
My work is both spiritual and science backed, and it didn't start that way. I grew up in a high control religion, some might even call it a cult, which left me feeling disconnected. There was a big hole in my life and I had no idea how to fill it. No amount of thrills or things could lift me from the depression I'd become very familiar with.
Autopilot led me down a very unfulfilling corporate retail management job, and eventually burnout. But burnout turned out to be the blessing in disguise. It gave me the courage to embrace uncertainty and solo travel through Asia, volunteering along the way and completing my yoga teacher training in India.
I started to sense less default and more agency, and my work over the next ten years centered on understanding the science behind the practices I was embracing. My hope was to make mindfulness more accessible and to understand how to truly support the nervous system, reducing the likelihood of burnout.
But there was still a missing piece. I began to see how easy it was to become a bliss junky, someone who could have a beautiful practice without ever truly living it or integrating its insights. That's when I saw the real power of self inquiry, not just to feel good in the moment, but to dissolve the limiting beliefs standing between me and living in integrity with my values and true Self.
Now I support others not just in becoming more resilient to stress, but in honoring their spirit. It's the part of us no amount of science could ever fully explain, and can be one of our most reliable refuges.

true Self
Our true Self is the wisest version of us and is a calm, confident presence beneath the noise of habit and conditioning.
body compass
The more we move from the analytical mind into sensing the body, the more clearly we can hear what our true Self is trying to share.
embodiment
Change doesn't come from analysis, it comes from embodiment. For a more fulfilled and inspired life, we have to actually embody our intentions, insights, and values, not just understand them.

My Journey
(SO FAR)
1983
Born to a Cuban Immigrant
Single Mother
2001
Rebuilding from Scratch
Estranged from loved ones and rebuilding from scratch, I felt a quiet nudge toward something more. I received my GED and enrolled in community college.
2016
Burnout Woke Me Up
Burnout was the moment that first cracked open a sense of agency I hadn't felt before. It gave me the courage to step into uncertainty, volunteer across Asia, and complete my 200 hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India.
2019
First Vipassana Retreat
Ten days of silence and ten plus hours of meditation a day. It was one of the most life changing and rewarding experiences I've ever had. It was the first of three retreats that followed.
2024
Working with Veterans
Facilitating mindfulness and breathwork with veterans in a transitional housing program changed how I saw this work entirely. It's part of what's drawing me toward supporting those with the greatest need through psychedelic assisted therapy as access expands.
2026
Beginning my MSW
I began an online MSW program at UCF, continuing to build the clinical foundation for the work ahead.
2000
First Glimpse of True Self
During my senior year of high school, I asked to be expelled from the religion I grew up in and had to also walk away from many of my most important relationships.
2006
Sociology Degree & Straight to Corporate
Graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Sociology, then went straight into corporate retail management.
2017
Miami Beach Botanical Garden
I began teaching yoga and meditation at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, where I'm still a resident teacher today.
2024
Mindfulness Mentor Training
Completed the 16 week Mindfulness Mentor Training with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
2026
Wayfinder Coach Training
I completed Level 2 ICF accredited Wayfinder Coach Training through the Martha Beck Institute, logging over 100 coaching hours, and finally had a structure for what I'd already been sensing how to do.
Looking back, every turn on this timeline was really the same thing happening again and again, learning to trust what I already knew underneath the noise. I'm still learning it. If any part of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
